From the Pastor's Desk

Hello

We are happy that you have found out web page.  We are in the midst of change as our last pastor had to resign due to health issue.  We want to thank Brother Bill Means and Sister Cathy for their service to our congregation over the past 6 years.  We currently have a wonderful interim pastor helping us Brother Ben and Sister Sally Helton  and I am continuing as Associate Minister of Visitation.

The church council is in the process of searching for a new Senior Pastor.  This is not an easy assignment , as we want the Lord to be the One who sends us the shepherd that He wants us to have.  We would love to have you communicate with us about how we can serve the internet community as well as the community we which we live.  The Bible, in the book of Acts, chapter 1:8; Jesus speaking, says "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnessed to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of th earth."   Therefore, we are to spread the Gospel of Jesus in any manner possible.  This is why we have a Facebook presence and why we have this site.  Please utilize these resource to spread the story of Jesus to a lost and dying world.

When said to start in Jersalem, that tells us to start where we live and worship.  Then to the surrounding areas, even to those, such as the Samaritans, who do not worship God as do .  Then we are to tell the entire world the wonderful story of Jesus and His love for mankind.

As you go about, let the light of Jesus so shine before men(and women) that they will want what you have. Lead them down the Roman Road to Jesus
